Agrocel Factory Canteen

The Factory Canteen at Agrocel, Dhordo has received wide international recognition for its climate-responsive design and material-led approach to sustainability in an extreme desert context. The project has been featured on global platforms including ArchDaily, where it was recognised among the Top 5 globally in the Industrial Architecture category at the Building of the Year Awards 2026, and has been longlisted for the TECTURE AWARD 2025 (Japan).

The project has been appreciated for its thoughtful use of locally sourced and upcycled materials, low-tech passive cooling strategies, and its humane reimagining of an industrial dining space.
