At Studio Dot we believe design is beyond just its very form and expression, it is context driven. Through the years the studio has strived to do justice to the context through designing projects of varied scale and nature.

Working in close accord with artisans and materials we strive to innovate through reviving indigenous techniques and, research and development.

  • At Studio Dot we are always on the look out for projects that challenge us to innovate. True innovation comes from Research and Development.

  • At Studio Dot, contextual response is at the heart of our design philosophy. We believe that every structure should not just occupy space but rather harmonize with its surroundings.

  • The field of design demands working with people in the creative field and its allied industries. Through collaborations we strive to strengthen our understanding beyond our studio space and projects.

  • While the world has moved onto concrete and steel, we work hard with local artisans to revive indigenous methods of construction and building finishes to not only make them contextually relevant but also to keep the rich knowledge bank alive and breathing.

    Studio Dot primarily undertakes institutional, corporate and business clients.

    Studio Dot Associates focuses on residential client base.

  • Design for Everyone is an initiative undertaken by Studio Dot to provide affordable design solution to masses. Through Design for Everyone we are trying to make a difference in the field of design at the grass-root level.

  • Think Elemental is our escape from the world of architectural projects for the love of working with hands. At Think Elemental we are working on the little things that help elevate spaces such as products and furniture.

Design Wings

Over the years Studio Dot has worked on projects of varied scale and nature and through these experiences we found the need to diversify and help define our three main design wings which focus on design solutions based on the scale, nature of clients and complexity of projects.

While Studio Dot remains the parent firm, its off-shoots Studio Dot Associates, Design for Everyone and Think Elemental help us reach a wider audience making it a multi-disciplinary design practice.
